Disaster Recovery Account Executive - Florida
REPORTS TO: Sales Manager
FLSA STATUS: Base Salary & Commission (Based on experience)

SUMMARY
The Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Account Executive is a member of the sales team and is responsible for meeting or exceeding their assigned sales quota and following all corporate policies on sales, marketing and customer service. This position is focused on developing relationships with quality clients, understanding their needs and providing product and service solutions that answer those needs. This person is challenged to penetrate existing clients with all our products and services as well as expand their market by developing new clients through cold calling, networking and other means of lead generation.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

- Present, market and sell Corus360 solutions
- New Business Development where appropriate
- Identifying new market opportunities to promote and sell into
- To achieve and/or exceed the revenue and margin budget of the portfolio of accounts
- Following the qualification process to ensure the viability of the prospect and the allocation of resources to pursue the opportunity
- Updating the forecasting system regularly so that all business opportunities are captured leading to a healthy sales pipeline with adequate cover
- Client relationship management – to build relationship at strategic levels to ensure client satisfaction is achieved
- To attend sales and product training in order to be an effective sales person
- To be self-driven by managing the portfolio of accounts like one’s own business
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in articulating and selling of solutions
- Experience with Managed Services, Disaster Recovery and selling into Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts
- Strong relationship and communication skills
- Consultative sales experience with problem solving skills
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with clients in an account management or customer service role.
- Knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery industry terminology, competition, and trends
- Experienced hunter capable of seeking out new business opportunities and managing the sales cycle to close
- Experience with Data Center Consolidation, Virtualization and Rationalization solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Microsoft Office required. Microsoft CRM experience is a plus.
